At age 92, Slobodkina was still busy making assemblage art. “Gently Unverticle” was constructed on the base of an old inverted clock case. Slobodkina was enamoured by computer parts and kept in her coiffers pieces of metal, mother boards, and wires from discarded computers, (which she deconstructed herself). Much of the top assembly was constructed from those remains.
